Vail is undergoing a multi billion dollar renewal that is transforming the existing village and incorporating the newest addition LionsHead into a first-class destination mountain resort.
Thomas Consultants prepared a market assessment of the retail needs, voids and opportunities, in order to reposition and redevelop LionsHead Village at Vail. A key purpose of the Retail Strategy was to establish a leasing plan to guide not only the revitalization of portions of Vail Village controlled by Vail Resorts, but also to set a framework for the improvement of the merchandise mix for all of LionsHead Village. Another key objective was to introduce missing retail merchandise types that are not currently available at Vail, but are found in other competing resorts.
